Eggplant - Tsakoniki

A very early maturing eggplant and has most often been the very first to produce mature fruits. Produces long slender fuits streaked with lavender and purple. We have found it to have a hint of sweetness and it lacks the bitterness of some other varieties. This special variety hails from Leonidio Greece where they have an annual Tsalonki festival. Its has an " Appellation of origin" designation.
