Pheromone based lure and trap for use in apples, pears, crabapples and walnuts.
These traps are used both for mass trapping and as a monitoring system. The pheromone attracts the male insect where he is caught in the trap. For mass trapping, use 2 or more traps per tree. For monitoring insect populations, use 1 trap per tree. When insects begin to appear, begin spray application for insect control (Monterey Horticulture Oil & Cyd-X HP). Tree pheromone traps are available with 2 traps and lures per box. Codling Moth trap and Lure for use in apples, pears, crabapples, and walnut trees. Non-Toxic.
Easy to set up and place:
- Just grasp the trap by the top and bottom flaps. Pull apart to form the trap.
- Open the lure packet and place one lure on the upper inside surface of the trap.
- Place the trap 1–2 feet inside the tree canopy.
