Cucubrita pepo
Caserta is creamy and sweet with a hint of nuttiness. We understand why this bush zucchini variety was chosen for an “All American Selection” award in 1949. This smaller tapered pale green squash has green parallel striping. It has become a favorite for its tastiness and long productivity. We like it best picked young, cut in half, and baked with spices and a lick of olive oil.
