Mosquito Bits® is a biological insecticide (BTI) that kills the larvae of mosquitoes that transmit West Nile Virus, Zika Virus, and Dengue Fever. Spread over standing water where it will kill larvae within 24 hours. Re-apply every 7 - 14 days. Use in areas that contain aquatic life, fish and plants. Perfect to use on fallen leaves, swampy areas, and vehicle tracks in turf. Sprinkle over bromeliads, pitcher plants, or any water holding plant. Harmless to plants, pets, beneficial insects, fish or wildlife. Mosquito Bits® are also approved and labeled as a biological control for fungus gnat larvae in planters and soils. Kills fungus gnat larvae in soil without synthetic toxins.

Use Instructions:Sprinkle one teaspoon per 25 square feet or one tablespoon per 75 square feet (1/2 lb. Per 2178 square feet) over tile surface of the containerized standing water found around the home. Mosquito bitsâ should be applied uniformly. A seven to fourteen day interval between applications should be employed. Longer periods of mosquito suppression will be obtained with the subsequent use of mosquito dunks. Mosquito bits can be applied to areas that contain aquatic life, fish and plants. Can be applied to areas used by or in contact with humans, animals, horses, livestock, pets, birds or wildlife. Do not apply to finished, treated human drinking water sources. Apply to containerized standing water found near the house such as : water gardens, flower pots, rain barrels, roof gutters, bird baths, tree holes, animal watering toughs, old automobile tires. Kills mosquito larvae that transmit: west nile virus, encephalitis, malaria, dengue hemorrhagic fever. Fungus gnat control: sprinkle or spread the granules over the soil until the area is covered. Water will release the bti into the soil where the larvae of the fungus gnats will feed on it and die. Repeat this process for a three-week period for control, if fungus gnats reappear start process over, sprinkling granules on and watering again for a three-week period.
