Growing Solutions Compost Tea Catalyst™ is a microbial food source that contains soluble kelp, rock powder and a blend of botanical ingredients formulated for optimal microbial growth and diversity. Compost Tea Catalyst contains only complex carbohydrates—no molasses or simple sugars. Biodiversity is the key to resilience in natural systems. Good compost contains a broad diversity—thousands of different species—of beneficial microorganisms, many of which can be extracted into solution. Adding a supplemental food source during the Compost Tea production cycle promotes robust growth and proliferation of specific types of desirable microorganisms. Growing Solutions Compost Tea Catalyst is listed with the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) as an accepted input in certified organic operations.

All rates are approximate and are based on 25 gallons of Compost Tea concentrate per acre for agricultural applications, and 50 gallons of Compost Tea concentrate per acre for turf applications (1 gal. per 1,000 sq ft./1 acre = 43,560 sq ft.).
