Potassium sulfate, also known as sulfate of potash, is a naturally occurring combination of sulfate and salt of potassium ions. This nutrient is essential for successfully and efficiently moving water throughout plants.
In nature, potassium is found as a nutrient within salts such as potassium chloride and potassium sulfate. Although plants use sulfur and chlorine, chlorine doesn't typically contribute to soil health. Potassium sulfate provides sulfur in a form that plants can utilize, which helps naturally decrease the pH of the soil.
